The Precious Metals (platinum-Pt, palladium-Pd and rhodium-Rh .etc) have been widely used as highly efficient catalysts in environmental catalysis. The precious metals are also referred to as the noble metals or platinum group metals. WFEC mainly concentrated on the precious metal-supported-catalysts rational design and industrialization. Emission control catalysts are typically manufactured by applying wash-coat onto catalyst supports. For example, Honeycomb structured catalysts using a unique coating materials has the advantages of high catalytic activity, good thermal stability, long life, high strength and without creating too much back pressure.
